
General Organisation
Le programme est composé de sept modules, chacun englobant plusieurs types d’activités et de séminaires, ainsi qu’un mémoire. Le programme commence au début de l’année académique et dure quatre semestres à temps plein. Les étudiant-e-s ont également la possibilité de suivre le programme à temps partiel. Les jours d’activités en face-à-face sont du jeudi au samedi.
Target Population
Candidates are expected to have an excellent Bachelor degree in educational or social sciences, psychology or any (inter-) disciplinary field related to development, learning, language studies, media, arts or socio-cultural issues.
The programme brings together graduates from Luxembourg, the cross-border Greater Region, European and international contexts.
Programme
The programme follows a challenging concept of teaching-for-learning within higher education based on the theoretical framework of Activity Theory, the socio-cultural paradigm of learning and development as well as the socio-cognitive study of learning and teaching in interaction. In this way, it provides excellent grounds for extending existing theoretical frameworks, professional skills and mediational tools for the study of multilingual and multicultural contexts on behalf of the MA candidate’s individual profi le and development throughout the MA courses.
The Master - Learning and Development in Multilingual and Multicultural Contexts programme takes a learners-as-researchers approach combining case studies with a transdisciplinary exploration of the following four domains of interest:

Admissibility
Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten verfügen über einen Bachelorabschluss (180 ECTS) oder vergleichbare Qualifizierungen im Bereich der Lehr-Lern-Wissenschaften, der Kommunikation, der Interaktion, der Entwicklungsanalyse, der Sprachen, der Kultur-, Kunst- und Medienwissenschaften, der Bildungstechnologien oder vergleichbaren Bereichen. Die Auswahl erfolgt auf der Grundlage des Bewerbungsdossiers.
Multilingualism
Zu Beginn des Studienprogramms sollten die Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten über zwei der drei Wissenschaftssprachen des Studienganges (Deutsch, English, Français) funktional verfügen.
